It's the cutest little "stinker" around!!! Here's some pics from Bodie's Halloween Adventures!! He had a blast going "Trunk-or-Treating"!
He didnt enjoy carving his pumpkin all that much - he didn't want Mommy drawing the face and then he wanted NOTHING to do with the "guts"....so it was up to Mommy to finish. He loved the finished product though!!
Happy Halloween!!

Don't Cry For The Horses
Don't cry for the horses
That life has set free
A million white horses
Forever to be
Don't cry for the horses
Now in God's hands
As they dance and they prance
To a heavenly band
They were ours as a gift
But never to keep
As they close their eyes
Forever to sleep
Their spirits unbound
On silver wings they fly
A million white horses
Against the blue sky
Look up into heaven
You'll see them above
The horses we lost
The horses we loved
Manes and tails flowing
They Gallop through time
They were never yours
They were never mine
Don't cry for the horses
They will be back someday
When our time has come
They will show us the way
On silver wings they will lift us
To the warmth of the sun
When our life is over
And eternity has begun
We will jump the sun
And dance over the moon
A Ballet of horses and riders
on the winds
to a heavenly tune
Do you hear that soft nicker
Close to your ear?
Don't cry for the horses
Love the ones that are here
Don't cry for the horses
Lift up your sad eyes
Can't you see them
As they fly by?
A million white horses
Free from hunger and pain
Their spirits set free
Until we ride again

Bodie's Birthday & Trip to Wyoming
I'm finally getting around to posting about Bodie's Birthday Weekend
We had a crazy road trip weekend over Labor Day weekend for Bodie's birthday. 1166 miles and 5 states in one day - here are the pics!!
We started our trip Friday Evening. We drove to my Parent's house in Midway, Utah - got there about midnight. Bodie did not sleep one wink on the 6 hour drive....UGH! I was sooo frazzled by the end of that drive! There was a little festival in Midway that weekend, so we went to the Parade on Saturday morning. My Dad was driving a 1950 something tractor in the parade, so we went and cheered at him!! Bodie was so excited to see Grandpa in the parade on the tractor!! (the camera died during parade, but I got pics later of the tractor . We spent the rest of the morning at the festival and shopped our butts off. Saturday evening, we had Bodie's birthday party with all of his cousins and my family. We also did the surprise part of the party for my Dad as well (who just turned 78). Bodie's favorite part of the party was the Bubble machine and the tractor on his cake.
The pics didnt turn out to good of the cake presentations and gift opening - it was too dark outside.
We got up early Sunday morning and drove to Afton, Wyoming to see Justin's Sister and her family. It rained most of the day sunday, and MOnday morning, we woke up to HUMONGOUS snowflakes!! Bodie had so much fun watching the snow fall but none of it stuck long enough to play in. Monday evening, we hung out in their backyard with a campfire and enjoyed the Cool weather. It was a big change - it was 110 degrees when we left home and in the 30's when we were in Wyoming!!!
We hit the road to come home on Tuesday morning - was a 9 hour drive home. I was soooo proud of Bodie though..he was such a good traveler!! We stopped every about 3 hours so that he could get out and stretch and go potty. He stayed dry the ENTIRE trip home and even pooped in the potty at the 2nd stop! We havent been "actively" PT'ing until after this trip, but I think he's ready!!!
Anyway...here is our pics!!!
First slideshow is the Birthday party

(for those of you wondering which states we drove through.....coming home we were in Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Arizona & Finally, Nevada.) We even taught Bodie the names as we were going through. He says WYOMING so cute!!

Finally Finished!!
Last weekend, we purchased Bodie's early Birthday present for him, so that we could actually get one while they were still in stock. Construction began on Wednesday - took about 12 hours on Wednesday and then another 5 hours on Friday evening! It is FINALLY done!! All of the hours of sweating in 112 degree weather was worth it as soon as Bodie went down the slide the first time, landing square on his bottom and giggled and said "do 'gain"! He loves his swing and is always begging to "go ginging". Here's a pic of the playset. I'll post pics and videos of Bub playing on it as soon as I can!!

Pics from our Colorado Trip
Memorial Day weekend, we took a trip to Colorado to see Justin's grandma Jerrie. Justin had been in Denver for the week for training for work, so Bodie & I flew out to Colorado for the weekend. It was Bodie's first time flying, and he flew like a pro!! He did SOOO good!! We had a wonderful time - enjoyed some GREAT company (Gma Jerrie, Gpa Gordie, Justin's Aunt, Trina and her Husband Rod, and their cute little boy Roman). Also ate LOTS of Mexican food!!! Saturday, we went to the Pueblo Zoo and enjoyed watching Bodie and Roman play and run through the zoo seeing the animals. Sunday evening, we went to the Pueblo City Park, where they have a bunch of kid rides (each ride cost 25cents to ride). They had a blast!!
Here's a slideshow of a few pics from the weekend!!

Bodie....the Concert Pianist
Bodie's sitter took this cute little video of Bodie with her cell phone. He had climbed up to her electric keyboard and really got into playing a tune. She had it set on Auto play...so the music you hear really isnt his melody...but it is so cute how he is swaying to the music and reaches down to the last key. She didnt want to get closer..scared he'd stop playing....so if you want to hear the music, turn your volume up WAYYY loud.....

Just to start the blog off...Here's a pic from this morning of Bodie...wearing his "Victorious Virgo's" T-shirt! (for non VV's) The Victorious Virgo's are an awesome group of Mom's that I met online through Babycenter when I had Bodie. They all have little ones that were born around the same time as Bodie. They have been SUCH an amazing group of women to get to know! One of the moms created a t-shirt for all of our kiddo's...with a Haiku on the front and all of the kiddo's names on the back in the shape of V V. VV Momma's ROCK!!! :)
